a classic bit of space disco from the french scene of the 70s. four long tracks that are all pretty darn moogy, and pretty darn great! the work here would fit nicely with some of the best keyboard heavy club of the us scene at the time! not exactly like some of the work on p&p, or the grooves of el coco over at avi - but not that dissimilar either, and often put together with a spare, simple approach thats a welcome contrast from overblown disco of the time! most numbers build up from a funky bassline and beats - adding in the keyboards with great relish, and really letting them jam and get crazy over the top. theres certainly a bit of cosmic fusion going on here too

following up the massive debut of lets pet puppies, marcus mixx returns with a two tracker of straight up classic chicago dancefloor mayhem. t.a.p. is nasty. you thought you were nasty? sorry charlie, nasty s over here. marcus drops the vocal on this track thats either a precursor or the end point for ghetto tech, and most likely simply in a class by itself. psychousic is somewhere in between classic robert armani / armando, and the best of the early relief stuff. can you say beat track? if your floor doesnt jack to this, you need a new one.
